October 2023

Action packed month for young Rangers!

All leagues were well under way come October with our youngest teams also participating in the IFA Small Sided Games at the Bawnacre Centre in Irvinestown. Rangers U12 and U14 Girls sides kicked off their campaign, with the U12s gaining 4 wins out of 4, scoring an impressive 25 goals and finishing the month in 2nd place in their table.  While it was a tougher start for the U14 Girls, they performed well and earned their first points of the season with draws against Augher Stars and Beragh Swifts.

For the U17 Boys, a first loss of the season was followed up with a win and a draw to finish the month strong. At U15 level, the young side battled hard against tough opposition and were making great progress as a team, even though points were hard to come by. At U12, Rangers got the better if Ballinamallard Utd and Enniskillen Athletic for a perfect month. Finally there were some brilliant team performances and some great goals scored by our U11 side against Lisnaskea Rovers and Lisbellaw Utd.

At a young age, winning is not the most important thing. The important thing is to develop creative and skilled players with good confidence.
